Somewhere in between there was S.T.R.E.E.T.S.

Once there was a band called Orange Juice...

In his spare time, their front man liked to shred on a skateboard , mosh and sit on people heads.

Their guitar player's name was James Farwell (seen here 1989/90 at The Albert)

Orange Juice broke up, James took off to B.C. and formed a band with the best band name ever used to date period: S.T.R.E.E.T.S. (Skateboarding totally rules everything else totally sucks). All good things come to an end, but James Farwell pushed forward and formed Bison B.C.

James is shown here all grown up after a Bison Set at The Pyramid during a tour with Barn Burner and Priestess a couple of years back.

If you'd like to learn more about the Winnipeg raised James Farwell and his band Bison B.C. check out this Uniter article. If you wanna see them play... be at the Albert tomorrow night!
